This is my first manipulation in well over a year. After having registered this account after abandoning my other, I decided to keep my inspirations more organized (like that will happen!) and whipped this together. I'm amazed how both rusty I am, yet how I managed to pull this one together nicely. I didn't have any direction whatsoever as to where to go with this piece. But here it is--the completed piece.
I tried to tell a story with this one--how butterflies are associated with spring, and how the water has been frosted over. You can see the grass coming through and the snow. Two elements I chose to tell that--even if in real life for us Westerners, winter is still yet arrive--the "dog days" are over for the little fox, who has been in solitude in the harsh winter elements for some time. The butterfly is his spring of hope.
Oh, and I glad you mention that was as fox (blush). The face looked like a dogs but the tail looked like a cats...was a little confused there for a moment...hee, hee.
The pup actually looks like my brother's chihuahua, except the pup in this picture is white, not brindle in colour. Both are amazingly gorgeous, though. And I love the two different coloured eyes. 'Nuff rambling!
